The aim of our practice is to provide a complete service to all of our clients both corporate and individual, regardless as to whether they are private or legally aided. We are ideally placed to provide a wide ranging service to the local community. We have the expertise to undertake all types of commercial work and litigation for both national and international organisations. We have a close association built up over a number of years with a number of companies based in the U.S. but which have substantial interests in the U.K. Our aim is to build on the relationships we have established both with our local clients as well as our corporate clients whilst also seeking new opportunities.

We are franchised by the Legal Services Commission and have been awarded a charter under the Investors in People scheme.

Our principal office is situated in the market town of Gainsborough and we have a branch office in the dormitory town of Kirton-in-Lindsey. Both offices have been established for over 100 years. In consequence, over a long period of time, we have developed a reputation for providing a broad range of services to the local community.

Over the past 20 years or so we have, in addition, built up a substantial volume of corporate work, some of which is of an international nature and this tends to mark us out as being somewhat unique within our locality. We can and do now offer our business clients a full range of commercial services.

The core services we have traditionally undertaken consisted of Conveyancing; litigation (both general family and employment); wills, tax and probate. Over recent years we have also developed a specialism in Personal Injury.

We now have a very strong litigation practice undertaking a wide range of work from basic debt collection (for corporate and private clients alike) at one end to High Court commercial litigation at the other. We are on the Law Society's panels for personal injury, childcare and MHRT.

We have also developed a financial services department which has proved to be most successful and which now works very effectively in tandem with other departments, and particularly, trust and probate.
